Shian Pryce
Shian was raised in Kingston, Jamaica and spent time in New York and Toronto before joining us at VAEC in 2008. She spent a year at Humber College in Toronto, followed by diplomas in Medical Office Administration from George Brown College, and Animal Care from Sheridan College. She now works as a valued member of our team as a VTA. She loves the emergency aspect of veterinary medicine for its pace and case variety, along with the daily challenges that each presents. She also was attracted to the large number of species including birds, exotics and wildlife here at the clinic that keep shifts interesting. She has found herself at home with our staff members as part of a hardworking, laid back team of people who take great pride in what we do. Her big smile and amazing sense of humor lighten any shift she works on!
She is an avid street jazz dancer and nature photographer. As a self proclaimed cat person, her 2 beautiful cats Ash and Isis are her pride and joy. She loves learning about different things to broaden her horizon and takes every opportunity to see what this wonderful life has to offer...
