Brianne Fudge
Brianne decided to join our team in 2008 for the chance to work with a large variety of animals and is known around VAEC as Our Great and Creative Organizer! "I am constantly learning new things everyday with such an amazing team of people....the hardest working folks I know!" She plans to attend school to become a Veterinary Technologist and to later earn her animal massage therapy certificate. Brianne dreams of living the farm life with her fur family - her water loving Cairn terrier Cricket, her New Orleans rescue Chihuahua Queenie, her fat cat Reggae and her sweet old alley cat Gabriel.
"You can talk a great philosophy, but if you can't be kind to people everyday it doesn't mean that much to me" - Ani Difranco
Shian Pryce MOA, Veterinary Assistant
Shian was raised in Kingston, Jamaica and spent time in New York and Toronto before joining us at VAEC in 2008. She spent a year at Humber College in Toronto, followed by diplomas in Medical Office Administration from George Brown College, and Animal Care from Sheridan College. She now works as a valued member of our team as a VTA. She loves the emergency aspect of veterinary medicine for its pace and case variety, along with the daily challenges that each presents. She also was attracted to the large number of species including birds, exotics and wildlife here at the clinic that keep shifts interesting. She has found herself at home with our staff members as part of a hardworking, laid back team of people who take great pride in what we do. Her big smile and amazing sense of humor lighten any shift she works on!
She is an avid street jazz dancer and nature photographer. As a self proclaimed cat person, her 2 beautiful cats Ash and Isis are her pride and joy. She loves learning about different things to broaden her horizon and takes every opportunity to see what this wonderful life has to offer...
