Vancouver Animal Blood Services banks canine packed red blood cells (pRBCs)  and fresh frozen plasma (FFP).

If you need either on an emergency basis, or if you would like to purchase FFP to store so you have it on hand when needed, please contact the Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinic directly. The VAEC team can tell you about product availability, prices, shipping, and also help with questions about appropriate blood product choices.  One of our veterinary technicians can help with questions about administering blood products.
